Hi, My name is Aisha Kelsey Mijares, thus the name aishakels. I have always been interested in webdesign and digital or media arts. It started off with the small programs, like paint. The paint projects actually turned out pretty good with just a simple program. (Anyone remembers those virtual barbies? Or the "Bonita Dolls" yeah, that is kind of like the art i did on paint.) Well that literally took me hours and hours just to make those detailed pictures on paint. Then, my computer crashed. Paint was acting up and I had no where else to turn to but to move to Paint Shop Pro, since my Dad just bought a random program. I learned how to work that program and again taking me awhile to get used to. When I tested out all the tools and such, the computer crashed again. (cont..at aishakels section)

Senior year I built websites that my teachers would request me to make and by the end of the year I received multiple awards for those designs and recognition by the Media arts department. Then I moved to animation. This class didn't offer animation or anything like that, it was a webdesign class. But it did have the equipment..sort of So I used what I can to make an animation. (I had a sudden craving to make an animation.) And that I did, I had to cut it a bit short since school ended & now that Animation is on my Youtube. It was on Gabe Bondoc the youtube singer, and he ended up commenting and favoriting my video. Yes, so as you can tell by my history I sort of have an obsession in trying to complete what I started and trying to be the best in what I can be, and I'm pretty positive that this class would cover my creative side of my brain and I could learn more off of this. This time my dad installed a new program Adobe Photoshop, and I learned how to use the basics off of that then went on to tutorials I found online to figure out different techniques. From then on we upgraded Adobe Photoshops, since they were so great. Then when Myspace came on a whole new world came to my attention, Web Design. I liked putting the whosits and whatsits together to making something really pretty. I Learned color coordination and memorized codes. My first designed layout I skipped dinner and stayed up till 6am and didn't rest until I was done. When I was finally finished, my mom was supposed to wake me up that day since it was my birthday.
